Mr. Harley D. McClung is the owner, CEO and President of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. Mr. McClung is a graduate of Richwood High School and attended Glenville State College and WV Technical College. Prior to becoming involved with Metalcraft, he worked for Strick Trailer in Pennsylvania and as a laborer for Sutton Electric constructing the Metalcraft Fenwick facility. McClung began as a welder at the new facility and worked his way up to Manager of Metalcraft. In 1984, he purchased the Metalcraft facility with two partners. He bought out his former partners and has been successfully operating the company for over 30 years. In addition to operating Metalcraft, Mr. McClung is very active in the Church of God (Universal) and is a keen sportsman and horseman. He is married with two grown children and four grandchildren.
Lowell B. McClung is Vice President of Operations of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. Mr. McClung is a graduate of Richwood High School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from West Virginia University. Mr. McClung joined the Metalcraft team in 1995. Over the 20 years he has been with Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc., Mr. McClung has worked on remanufacturing all types of underground mining equipment. As a member of the management team he fills many roles as well as handling the company's engineering and international sales. Prior to joining Metalcraft, Mr. McClung worked as an electrical engineer in the equipment maintenance program at Peabody Coal. He and his wife have three children and three dogs. Mr. McClung is devoted to church work and enjoys golf as well as spending time outdoors and with family.
Vincent E. Belletto’s career in the mining industry started in 1975 with Sewell Coal Co. (Pittston). He began work as a mine clerk at 1A mine near Craigsville, W.V. While working as a mine clerk, he trained to be a certified underground miner and was also in the mine maintenance training program. Between work and school, he received his Underground/Surface Certifications for Electrician, Dust and Noise testing, Certified Instructor, EMT and Mine Forman Certifications. Mr. Belletto's primary work has been in the underground mining maintenance field, but he also has experience in managing high wall miners. For the past 20 plus years, Mr. Belletto has been employed at Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders where he has worked on remanufacturing all types of underground mining equipment. During his tenure with Metalcraft, he has held many positions including Assistant Shop Manager, Shop Manager, Safety Manager, General Manager and Sales Manager.
Rob Newsome is an outside sales representative for Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. In 1980 he graduated from Concord College with a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Newsome’s career in the mining industry began while attending Concord College in Athens, WV. He worked with explosives both above and underground until 2000. Mr. Newsome began his sales career by representing equipment to the surface mine industry predominately in Kentucky, Ohio and Maryland. He joined Metalcraft Mining Equipment in April 2018. Rob has been married for 33 years and is blessed with two kids and seven grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors hunting Grouse with his bird dog and fishing the New and Greenbrier Rivers.
Ms. Rebecca L. Salisbury is the Controller of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration from Glenville State College in Marketing and Accounting. Ms. Salisbury is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of West Virginia. She joined the Metalcraft team in an administrative capacity in early 1991 and quickly worked her way up to Controller. As a member of the management team, she fills many roles as well as handling Metalcraft's finances and marketing. Prior to coming to Metalcraft, Ms. Salisbury worked for the U.S. Postal Service and for Richwood Wholesale Company. She is a WV Public Notary and serves on the Board of Directors of Nicholas County Fine Arts. Ms. Salisbury enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as pursuing a variety of interests.
Mrs. April D. Deitz, formally Ms. April D. Rose, is the Assistant Controller of Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. She has worked at Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders, Inc. for over seventeen (17) years filling many different positions including administrative work, Human Resources, purchasing and accounting. Mrs. Deitz began working for Metalcraft the spring after she graduated from Glenville State College with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and minoring in Economics. While attending college, Mrs. Deitz worked at Pizza Hut as a waitress, Service Manager and Shift Supervisor. She is a WV Public Notary, CPR\First Responder and a Richwood High School Alumni. She is married with three children and two dogs and enjoys hunting, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
